LICILikhaan Institute of Creatology & Innovation
The Institute

Likhaan Institute of Creatology and Innovation.

The institutional vehicle through which the discipline is consolidated — hosting research across the four domains, educational programmes, and the apparatus a maturing science requires.

A fifty-year lineage

The Institute does not begin from nothing. Likhaan and its continuing educational programme, The InventSchool, marked fifty years in 2023, across a documented lineage that runs from the Samahar Roving School of the late 1960s, through Imbensyon Pilipino and a succession of research entities, to the present Institute. Over that half-century the work was carried forward with named partners including the Philippine Inventors Commission and its successor agencies under the Department of Science and Technology, the Development Academy of the Philippines, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the United Nations environment and development programmes, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the World Bank.
